We want to share an important but sad update about our venue.
Due to circumstances beyond our control, The Insurance Hall will be closing at the end of the current financial year. This decision has not been taken lightly. The sole reason for it is that we have been unable to secure a lease extension beyond 31 March 2026, when our current lease expires.
Since launching in April 2022, The Insurance Hall has grown from an idea into a highly regarded boutique venue, hosting hundreds of events for our clients. We are incredibly proud that throughout this time we have received no complaints or negative feedback — a true testament to the dedication, professionalism and passion of our team.
As we approach the final chapter of this journey, we would like to sincerely thank everyone who has supported us, collaborated with us and helped bring this historic venue back to life. It has been a privilege to work with you, and we hope there will be opportunities to collaborate again in the future
Steeped in history
The Insurance Hall has been the home of the UK Insurance sector for over 90 years. The building was designed in the early 1930s and officially opened on 28th June 1934 by His Majesty King George V.
In 1919, Sir Frederick Rutter, President of the Insurance Institute of Great Britain and Ireland laid out his vision for a grand building to house the Chartered Insurance Institute. Steeped in rich history, heritage and architectural significance, The Insurance Hall is today one of the most prestigious buildings in the City of London.
